This Interactive Portal functions as a support internet tool for organizing and participating in Virtual Congresses i.e. without physical presence. This software lets you have efficient information exchange sessions before and after actual meetings in order to deepen the analysis, to clarify concepts and opinions, and to reach better outcomes.
I was leader and responsible for the complete development of the new version of the site. This project included: the modularization of scripts to allow the organization of multiple parallel congresses; the development and implementation of a system of graphical templates to separate the information from its representation; the development and implementation of translation system in order to run the tool in several languages; the implementation of an online help system; the development and implementation of a system of virtual meetings with online voting; the development and implementation of a system of an integrated mailing system linked to the events posted at the site; the development of a new simplified graphical interphase customized to the user tasks and attributions in a given congress. The site works on a Linux/Apache server, programmed in PHP and with MySQL databases.
The National University of La Plata is one of the main universities in Argentina. The University organized in 15 main Academic Schools is regularly attended by approximately 50,000 students pursuing over 90 undergraduate and graduate degrees, The University has a research staff of more than 2000 experts working in wide variety of knowledge fields.
The project was developed as a part of my graduation thesis and it earned me the highest academic score. The design is based in multiple template layers and its main features are accessibility and usability. The implementation was coded in PHP and MySQL.
Fundación Reforma Política para la República (RPR) is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) founded by group of citizens after the Argentinean social and economic crisis of 2001. The core idea behind this NGO, is that in order to overcome the cyclical and systemic political crisis, the country needs to implement a political and institutional reform to help a transparent renewal of the leading political classes,
The site was designed and programmed in PHP and MySQL. It is noted that I developed a Content Management System (CMS) that is accessed in a private layer that supports Media News Monitoring Project implemented through over 50 e-volunteers. Working from different and distant location across the country and using the CMS, the e-volunteers are able to update the online news system in real time.
Acaneb, the Argentinean Dutch cultural association, develops activities in the cultural, academic and commercial fields with the main purpose of strengthening the relations between Argentina and the Netherlands.
The site was designed and structured from scratch. A monthly maintenance was performed during the first phase of operation.
Global-lingua, a company based in California, offers Translation, Design and Internationalization services with the purpose of reaching effective communication in through the Web. The company´s expertise is wide and includes: from traditional graphical design, through website design all the way to e-commerce solutions implementation.
I had a main roll in the redesign of the site and the incorporation of new technologies. It was a multidisciplinary work in the area of design of contents. The design was made completely in Flash.
